We see old black and white movie footage showing a New York Life sign being raised over a small brick building. Then, a wider shot showing the storefront building on a dust town road with a few other building like it nearby. Horse drawn trucks are moving past. A field is visible behind. Next, a man is shown shaking another man's hand and showing him into the office. Then, we see a montage shot, showing a row of old downtown buildings and classic cars, transitioning to be more filled in an modern. A couple, maybe from the 1940s or 50s walks past a newer-looking New York Life store. The scene transitions from black and white to faded color as well. Another shot is shown of the building and people walking by it, looks like the 1960s now. Then, we jump ahead to a modern city street. The colors are darker now too. A New York Life employee (a non-white woman, very modern) greets someone outside the New York Life office. Finally, we see a shot of a copper steepled building against the sky. The words, "LIFE INSURANCE RETIREMENT INCOME LONG-TERM CARE INSURANCE INVESTMENTS" scroll up next to it. Then, we see the New York Life logo with the slogan, "THE COMPANY YOU KEEP".
