The scene opens on the interior of a fancy restaurant. There's a crystal chandelier visible. There is a woman playing a harp. It's an elegant setting, though perhaps a bit stuffy. We see two people, a young woman and a girl hand a card off to their mother. Mom reads the card with a fairly serious expression on her face. She smiles and we see a view of the older daughter shyly smirk. Mom opens the cards and pops it out of its purple envelope. The card looks simply a sweet, it has a yellow flower on it. She opens the card and we hear James Brown singing "I Feel Good!" in a tinny hollow tone. It's coming from the card! Mom raises and eyebrow, stoic in her reaction. The other patrons of the restaurant turn to look. A champagne bottle pop, the cork hits the harp, irreverently. Mom's stoicism is lessened, she laughs quietly to herself. The two daughters smile between each other. Mom closes the card, the music stops and she looks at the girls with an expression that says, "I will get my revenge on you someday." Cut to a screen that says "CARDS WITH SOUND", then another that has the Hallmark logo and "Gold Crown" under it. Plus a caption reads, "At participating stores while supplies last."
